About

Experience the magic of the redwoods from the seat of a comfortable electric bike on our Redwood E-Bike Adventure — a unique way to explore the ancient forest with ease and freedom.

Your journey begins at our tour launch-point, Elk Meadow Cabins, where we’ll start with a brief tutorial on e-bike operation and safety. From there, we’ll set off on a scenic route that winds along wide bike paths shaded by towering redwoods. The ride is gentle and serene, with plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, and soak in the peaceful majesty of the forest.

Our naturalist guide will share stories about the ecology and history of the redwoods as we ride beneath their massive trunks and soaring canopies. The e-bikes make hills effortless, allowing you to focus on the experience—not the workout.

If time and pace allow, we’ll hop off at the halfway point to take a short walk into a hiking-only section of old-growth forest, where you’ll stand at the base of some of the largest and oldest redwoods in the region—some over 1,000 years old.

Are you an experienced e-biker? This tour will also be perfect for you! There are many additional way-points that can be added if you are a fast rider seeking to test your skills and endurance.

We are happy to accommodate all ages and skill levels!

Adventure Tips

Wear layers for changing temperatures

Forest canopies create cooler shaded spots, so bring layers to stay comfortable throughout your ride.

Bring water and stay hydrated

Electric biking is easier but still requires hydration, especially during warmer months.

Use a helmet during the e-bike tour

Safety first: always wear your provided helmet to protect yourself on varied terrain.

Prepare for occasional muddy trails

Spring and fall rains can leave some sections slippery; wear appropriate footwear and be cautious.
