About

Cruise the Bannockburn Vineyards by ebike and sample the distinctive and complex wines this region is producing.

Perfect for beginners, this ebiking adventure is the first leg of the famous Lake Dunstan cycleway. Starting at Smith's Way, you'll ride a serene 16-kilometer section along the flat trail to Cromwell's heritage precinct dating back to the gold rush of the 1860s. Grab a coffee and take a look around before following the Kawarau arm of Lake Dunstan to the Bannockburn bridge, an easy 7km ride. Here you meet up with the Dunstan Cycle Trail, which winds its way to your first stop, the Carrick Winery.

From here, follow our special marked trail to any of six wineries or dining spots around Bannockburn. When you've had enough fun, just let me know, and I will come to get you and drop you home safe. At General Adventure Company, we encourage you to explore Wanaka at your own pace.

Our self-guided ebike rides ensures that you have the freedom to discover hidden gems, picturesque vineyards, and breathtaking landscapes. Engage in the playful wine tasting ritual, allowing yourself moments of indulgence and delight on a journey like no other. Plus, Wanaka's best little ebike tour company is the only one that offers this exclusive experience, as we made it ourselves.
