The engine growls against a pale desert morning while the Burj Al Arab silhouette sits like a white marker on the horizon. You climb into a jet car, sand rising in your wake as the vehicle surges over wind-sculpted dunes, then, minutes later, swap grit for salt and throttle out onto the Arabian Gulf aboard a jet ski with the Dubai skyline unfolding behind you.
easy.
90 minutes.
Suitable for participants comfortable with short, seated high-speed rides; no sustained fitness required.
The full experience runs about 90 minutes including briefings, the jet car dune section, and the jet ski portion.
No—operators provide instruction and supervise both activities; basic comfort with speed is helpful but no formal skills required.
Not recommended for pregnant guests or those with serious heart or spinal conditions; infant seats may be available—check with the operator.
Launch and dune sites are near Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim beaches, a short drive from Burj Al Arab and central Dubai hotels.
The Jumeirah shore sits atop a coastline long used for fishing and pearling; rapid development since the late 20th century has transformed it into a tourism corridor.
Operators should avoid dune-sensitive routes and marked marine no-wake zones to protect seabed habitats and shorebird foraging areas.
