About

Dunajec river rafting is a perfectly safe leisure activity for people of all ages and a must if you visit the Polish mountains! It takes place on traditional wooden rafts that have been in use in the area for centuries and were originally utilized for transportation of people and goods. A single raft has room for up to 12 people at a time and there are two local boatmen traveling down the river with you. Our guide will assist you, interpret raftsmen’s anecdotes and tell you all about the culture and history of the region. A rafting route will let you relax and enjoy the beauty of the Polish mountains.

This tour starts in Krakow. You will be picked up by our English speaking driver from your hotel or the designated meeting point (see FAQ section below). In a mountain village called Sromowce Niżne you will embark on 2-hour rafting on the Dunajec river. The route will finish in a popular tourist town Szczawnica, where you will have free time. You will come back to Krakow in the afternoon. The entire tour will take around 8 hours.
