You step through Pile Gate and a different Dubrovnik unfolds: the city’s red roofs roll away beneath the sky while the Adriatic pinches into coves and cliffs. In an hour-long sweep by small car, the tour lifts you above the city — first to the terrace of the Dr. Franjo Tuđman Bridge, where the Rijeka Dubrovačka bay spreads like a turquoise challenge daring you to look closer.
