The Wonder Bus eases through a sun-struck boulevard, tires humming for a city tour one moment and the hull sealing the next as you slide into Dubai Creek. Glass and steel rise behind you; wooden dhows and wind-tattered souks pull forward. The vehicle’s dual nature makes the transition feel theatrical — one minute you’re craning to read a skyscraper’s reflection, the next the water nudges the hull and the creek dares you to see old Dubai from a new angle.
