The sun drops low over rippled, red dunes and the Lahbab desert exhales heat that glows like embers. You arrive in an air-conditioned 4x4, then trade sealed roads for a landscape that moves—dunes rise and fall, daring you to race their crests in a guided buggy. The buggy’s engine becomes your companion as sand sprays behind; later, the wind cools and the camp’s lanterns come alive.
