Night settles over Burj Lake and the first arc of water rises like a timed breath; the fountain seems to answer the glass towers around it with a pulse of light and sound. On this 2-hour outing visitors board a traditional abra for a short, guided glide across the 30-acre lake, placing them close enough to feel the spray and see the choreography of jets that reach the height of a 50‑story building.

The Dubai Fountain was designed by WET and debuted in 2009 on the artificially constructed Burj Lake at the base of the Burj Khalifa, becoming a nightly public attraction tied to Dubai’s urban development.
The fountain operates on recirculated water and LED lighting systems; visitors should stick to designated areas and avoid littering to help maintain the engineered lake environment.
