Adventure tips

Sun protection is mandatoryBring broad-spectrum sunscreen and a brimmed hat — reflections off water intensify UV exposure even on hazy days.

Hydrate before boardingCarry a refillable water bottle; operators provide beverages but open-air cruising increases fluid loss.

Choose your seat strategicallySit midship to reduce motion if you’re prone to seasickness; bow seats are best for unobstructed photos.

Arrive early for easier boardingShow up 20–30 minutes before departure to secure preferred seating and handle any accessibility needs.

Recommended gear

Broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+): Protects skin from intense sun reflected off water during daytime cruises.
Sunglasses and brimmed hat: Reduces glare for photography and keeps eyes comfortable on bright decks.
Light wind or evening jacket: Evenings on the water can be breezy; a light layer prevents chill after sunset.
Non-slip boat shoes or sandals: Provides traction on wet decks and is more comfortable for boarding and moving about the vessel.
