Adventure tips

Book the right time slotChoose the 7:00 AM breakfast for softer light and cooler temperatures, or the 8:00 PM BBQ for sunset photos and cooler breezes.

Pack sun protectionSunscreen, sunglasses, and a wide-brim hat are essential—reflective water intensifies UV exposure even on hazy days.

Motion-sickness strategyIf you’re sensitive, take an over-the-counter remedy before boarding and sit midship where motion is least felt.

Bring a camera with a polarizerA polarizing filter cuts glare from the water and improves clarity when photographing the Palm and Atlantis.

Recommended gear

Sunscreen (SPF 30+): Protects skin from strong UV reflected off the water and buildings.
Light windbreaker: Blocks sea breeze, which can feel cooler than onshore temperatures.
Polarizing camera filter or sunglasses: Reduces glare and improves photo contrast over water.
Motion-sickness tablets: Useful for those prone to nausea on open water.
