The sun sags low over the Arabian sand and the dunes take on a bronze glow; wind sculpts ridgelines that seem to breathe, daring you to push across them. On a Dubai evening safari the desert feels alive—each dune a hill to climb, each trough a pocket of silence broken only by the throaty rumble of a 4x4 or the whir of a quad bike.
