Adventure tips

Boarding timeArrive at least 20–30 minutes before departure to secure good seating and smooth embarkation.

Dress for the breezeBring a light jacket for open-deck seating—the creek can be cooler after sunset.

Camera readyCharge batteries and bring a small stabilizer or use the rail for steady night shots of the skyline and dhows.

Motion-sickness prepIf you’re sensitive to motion, take medication before boarding and choose a central seat on the lower deck.

Recommended gear

Light jacket or wrap: Evening breezes off the creek can be cool—layering keeps you comfortable on the open deck.
Motion-sickness medication: Small waves and night breeze can unsettle sensitive passengers—medication helps prevent nausea.
Comfortable slip-resistant shoes: Stable shoes make boarding and moving on deck safer, especially after dark.
Compact camera or smartphone with low-light capability: The illuminated skyline and reflections on the water are the highlight — bring gear that handles low light well.
