Sunrise To Sunset
Located 70 Miles west of Key West lies the Dry Tortugas National Park. It is home to gorgeous waters and some of the best bottom fishing in the world. The 70 Mile journey takes about 2 hours by boat, but between observing the changing water colors and riding through the quicksands which is home to several shipwrecks, some visible to the eye, the ride goes pretty fast. This trip is targeted more towards the avid angler who is looking to spend the entire day and fill the box with fish. We will leave the dock at sunrise 6am and not return until sunset 8pm or whenever your group is ready to go. I'm always willing to take an hour or two to explore the island (Fort Jefferson) as it is always a sight to see. I will contact you prior to the trip's departure and formulate a plan for the day as it is usually a specialty trip. Since it is a 70 mile run the weather has to be adequate in order for us to get there comfortably so the summer months are usually the best time to visit the Fort as this is when we see the lowest wind speeds and smaller seas although I will book these trips all year long depending on weather.
