Dog sledding is fun! On this top of the range dog sledding trip you will learn to drive your own team of sled dogs. Prior to departure our guides will show you how to handle the sled and your huskies in different situations along the trail. Driving your own team of eager Alaskan huskies into the magnificent Lapland wilderness is a BIG experience.
Around lunch time we will stop at our private wilderness cabin to enjoy a tasty meal consisting of starter, main course, and coffee & cake. The Lappish cuisine includes several tasty, aromatic, and unique raw materials of the North. On this dog sledding trip we will venture further into the wilderness than on our other trips and cover a distance of approx. 27 kilometres. The trip offers plenty of nice photo opportunities – both on the trail and during the lunch break.
Price and duration includes pick-up from your hotel and a return transfer after completion of the trip. Reservations no later than 5:00PM on the day prior to departure. Please inform us of food allergies and dietary restrictions in advance. As in all our trips, the use of warm winter gear is included.
