Late-afternoon light slides across a braided channel of the Drava, turning pebble beaches to hot metal and sending long shadows from oak copses onto the riverbank. You may see river birds, storks, and occasionally otters; sightings aren’t guaranteed but guides know likely spots, especially at dusk.
Children are generally welcome, but very young kids should be secured in car seats where required; pets are typically not recommended unless pre-approved as service animals.

Tours operate in a protected biosphere area—staying on vehicle tracks, minimizing noise, and carrying out all waste helps preserve shifting beaches and floodplain forests.
