Adventure Tips

Cook Ahead or Bring Groceries

While the ranch has a fully equipped kitchen, bringing your own ingredients ensures you can prepare favorite meals without last-minute runs.

Prepare for Variable Weather

Even in summer, Vashon Island can be cool and damp in the evenings—pack layers and waterproof gear to stay comfortable.

Bring a Headlamp or Flashlight

The teepee’s secluded location means limited lighting after dark; a reliable light source is key for safe navigation around camp.
