Light to moderate—must be able to sit upright, brace for bumps, and climb in/out of a 2‑seat UTV
One hour in a two‑seat Can‑Am UTV, a private guide, and Mojave ridgelines that open toward the Colorado River—this Dolan Springs off‑road tour is a quick, high‑impact way to sample desert driving. Helmets, water and free photos are included.
The engine growls before the desert does. You climb into a two-seat Can‑Am 1000, strap a helmet on, and the scrubby Mojave landscape pushes up against the windows like a living map—jagged ridgelines, iron-stained washes, and a sky so wide it feels like an instruction.

Each booking covers one two-seat UTV (up to 2 people); for 4 people reserve two packages so everyone has a seat.
Bring a reusable water bottle and high‑SPF sunscreen—desert sun and wind dehydrate quickly even on short trips.
Sturdy sneakers or light hiking boots improve foothold in the vehicle and while stepping on/off uneven ground.
Guides tailor routes to skill level; follow instructions for safe passing lines and sudden terrain changes.
The region is part of the Basin and Range landscape with histories of Hualapai habitation and later mining and ranching that shaped routes and relics visible today.
Stay on established tracks to protect fragile desert soils and cryptobiotic crust; pack out all trash and use provided water rather than disturbing local water sources.
Protects feet when entering/exiting the vehicle and walking on rocky ground.
Desert sun and reflected glare make shade and SPF essential.
