A low sun glints off the Persian Gulf as a line of jet skis peels away from Doha’s Corniche, wakes chiseling the mirrored skyline. Riders feel the city shift from concrete towers to low-slung fisher huts and the artificial curves of The Pearl—each kilometer a different face of Qatar’s coast. The water pushes and persuades you forward; the skyline answers with glass and steel.
