A convoy of air-conditioned 4x4s peels away from Doha, tires hissing as they’re deflated at Sealine before engines climb the steep backs of sand waves. You’ll step from metal into a quieter geography — wind-swept ridgelines, the thin cry of a distant falcon, and dunes that seem to move under their own will.
