easy.
5–6 hours.
Suitable for travelers with basic mobility—you should be able to get in/out of a 4x4 and walk short sandy stretches.
Expect roughly 45–60 minutes each way from central Doha depending on traffic and exact pickup point; pickup and drop-off are usually included.
Short camel rides and photo stops are typically offered at the camel farm stop, though availability can vary by operator and conditions.
Swimming is possible in calm sections but check with your guide—tides, currents, and access rules change, and there are no lifeguards.
Children can join but infants usually must sit on laps; the tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with serious back or heart conditions due to dune-bashing.
The area has long been traversed by Bedouin groups; the Keshta meal reflects centuries-old hospitality practices, while Khor Al Adaid’s tidal inlet has shaped local fishing and navigation traditions.
Dune ecosystems are fragile—stick to established vehicle tracks, pack out waste, and avoid disturbing wildlife or archaeological traces.
