About This Adventure

Experience the thrill of Alaska's premier dog sledding adventure! Meet friendly dogs, including retired "Walmart Greeters," and embark on a scenic journey through hills, woods, and frozen lakes. Capture unforgettable moments while staying warm with provided gear. Join us for an exhilarating 2-hour tour that promises excitement and memories!

Duration:

2 hours (Departs 10am, 12pm (noon), 2pm, and 4pm) Please arrive 30 minutes early for your tour.

We also run the Moonlight Dog Sled Adventure, departing at 6pm daily.

About:

Join us for the premier dog sledding adventure in Alaska. Located only an hour from Anchorage this tour includes meeting and greeting all of our dogs from the young to our retired dogs. In fact, from the moment you get out of your car our retired "Walmart Greeters" will be ready and wagging their tales to greet you. From there we will do a brief orientation before we head to the dog yard where we will get the teams ready and then head out on the trail. This tour goes up and down hills, through the woods and over frozen lakes. There will be plenty of time for pictures so don't forget your camera! We provide you with all the winter gear you need including boots, snowsuits and gloves to keep you warm included in the tour.

Cancellation Policy:

Note: Cancellation requests 7 days prior to the start of your tour will receive a full refund. There is a $50 per reservation rescheduling fee for group sizes with 8 or less guests. Larger parties can reach out for additional details. Rescheduling is based upon availability.

  • Cancellation requests 3-6 days prior to the start of your tour will receive 50% refund less any booking fees or taxes. Rescheduling fees apply and rescheduling is based on availability.
  • Cancellation requests less than 3 days prior to the start of your tour or failure to show up for your tour will result in no refund or rescheduling option.
  • Bookings made within the 3-day window prior to the start of a tour are not eligible for refunds or rebooking.
  •  ⁠Same day bookings are not eligible for refunds, rebooking or Travel Cancellation Protection.
    

•⁠  ⁠Rescheduling is first come, first served and based entirely on availability.

•⁠  ⁠Rescheduled bookings are not eligible for refund.

•⁠  ⁠Please note that canceled flights or illness are not exceptions to our cancellation policy.

•⁠  ⁠In the event that the tour is canceled by Snowhook Adventure Guides of Alaska due to weather or any other force majeure, the reserving party will receive a complete refund.
