You'll learn the techniques of forging while crafting your very own "decorative dog head hook (for leashes!!)." Under the guidance of our skilled blacksmith, you'll learn several essential blacksmithing skills including: Forge set up, parts of the anvil, hammer technique, bending, folding, forging, hot cutting, fullering, punching, drawing, tapering, and rolling a fenial. When finished you’ll leave with a steel creation you hand forged, hand hammered into a unique piece of functional art. You literally punch in the facial expressions of your doggy!

This is an intermediate level class. It requires slightly above a beginner's baseline hammer skills. It is also more physical than the other project. Please be prepared to work hard in this class.
