About This Adventure

Experience the joy of freedom at Westhill Muddy Paws Open Field 1, where your dog can run off-lead in a secure, spacious environment. Enjoy exclusive access to the field, perfect for training, socializing, or simply having fun with friends and their furry companions. Facilities include shelters, picnic benches, and water.

The Westhill Muddy Paws Open Field 1 is an open field for you and your dog(s) to enjoy. Please see photo of a map to direct you to the correct field. Each field has a sign also at the gate entrance.

The fields provide a safe and secure dog area where you can take your best friend to have a run free off the lead.

Our fully enclosed fields are perfect for off lead puppy training, recall practise, injury recovery, nervous pooches or socialising your new family member with their siblings. The fields are large open spaces with secure fences and gates surrounding them.

Within all three fields there are shelters, picnic benches, dog poo bins and drinking water facility.

When booking a time slot you receive exclusive use of the field you have booked, feel free to bring a couple of friends and dogs with you.

We advise that there is a maximum of 5 dogs per field per booking and animals must be supervised throughout.

All fields have shelters, picnic tables and everything you need for a great time with your dog(s).

Important to Know

At least one member of each booking must be 16 years and above.

The three fields have separate entrances but communal parking area. Please ensure you enter the correct field as per your booking; either open field 1, open field 2 or agility field.
Occasionally livestock may be seen in the fields adjacent to the muddy paws fields.

Meeting Point

Westhill Muddy Paws fields are located on the outskirts of Westhill town. If driving from Westhill town direction towards Blackburn the fields are located on the left hand side just after the golf course and bus stop when you enter the countryside. Please see map of where the muddy paws fields are located.

Adventure Tips

Bring plenty of water

Ensure both your dog and you stay hydrated during your visit, especially on hot days.

Arrive early or late in the day

Visit during off-peak hours to avoid crowds and have more space for play.

Pack waste bags

Help keep the space clean by bringing enough waste bags to pick up after your dog.

Check facilities before visiting
