About

Safari and pelagic snorkeling tour for swimmers and watchers. All levels of experience are welcome. This experience is designed by a marine biologist and our guides are ecologists/environmentalists with years of experience with the fauna and geography of Baja. You also get a presentation about the ecology & conservation work done locally.

Before entering the water, all participants will receive a comprehensive safety briefing from our crew. This will cover the proper techniques for entering and exiting the water, as well as guidelines for maintaining a safe distance from the animals.

You can expect to see Sea Lions, Sea turtles (Olive Ridley, Loggerhead, Green), Dolphins (Bottlenose) and many species of marine birds throughout the year. During the months of Dec-Jan and May-July, big schools of mobula rays gather around the shore line, especially during the early hours of the day. Nov-May is the whale season, so you can expect to see from the surface many species of big whales (Humpback, Blue, Gray) migrating to Baja.

Follow the guide's instructions and enjoy the wildlife with safety and respect! Animals may come close to the boat, and non-swimmers are also able to watch them from above.
