Our guided trail rides are a wonderful way to explore and enjoy a part of The Galena Territory.

Our trail rides are excellent for beginner and experienced riders alike and a perfect environment to enjoy horseback riding.

We provide you and your family with well trained horses which suit all skill levels. We have handpicked our horses for their calm temperament, athletic ability, and willingness to please. If you love horses and if you love nature, you will love this rare opportunity. Forty miles of picturesque trails traverse the stunning landscape of The Galena Territory through meadows and woodlands abundant with wildlife.

Please note the one hour includes instruction and load/unload time. Ride time is 40-45 minutes.

💰 No Refund Policy: Due to the costs associated with staffing and operations, we do not provide refunds for late arrivals, no-shows, or guests who choose not to participate after check-in.

📞 Contact Us: If you anticipate any delays, please call us at 815-777-9550 as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate, we cannot guarantee participation for late arrivals.

Trail riders must be 8 or older. Weight restricted to 60-250 lbs. Riders under 15 must be accompanied by an adult Bookings are restricted to 2 riders under age 13 on each ride. If you are not able to add a young rider to your booking it is because that ride already has the maximum young riders and the system will not allow any more young riders to be booked. There is a $20 overbook fee to add more than 2 riders under the age of 13.

For your protection we provide friendly and helpful trail guides on all rides, and we do not permit double riding. We require all horseback riders wear a closed toe shoe. Long pants are also highly recommended. Helmet rental is available free of charge.

Please note: Beginner rider is someone who has had zero to a few trail rides and/or experiences with horses. Intermediate rider is someone who has comfortably trotted/cantered a horse. Advanced rider is someone who has extensive and diverse experiences with horses.

We reserve the right to cancel/reschedule rides based on weather and/or horse condition and availability.

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to make your reservation, please give us a 24-hour notice to receive a full refund. No refunds will be given with less than a 24-hour notice.
