About

Hocking Hills is home to many exciting outdoor adventures, but nothing compares to the thrill of the an amazing zipline adventure! Fast, fun, and exhilarating, this 1 1/2 to 2-hour spectacular adventure offers nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike, ages 10 and up, the unique opportunity to zip through the treetops on a network of cables suspended high above the forest floor, overlooking a cave, rock cliffs, the Hocking River, and other flora and fauna!

What to Expect

Upon arrival, our friendly and experienced guides will give you a detailed safety and equipment orientation before you're fitted with your personal gear for the tour. You will also have the opportunity to actually zip on a low training cable to practice the techniques that you will be using on the tour.

While waiting between each zip you will enjoy amazing views from the observation platforms. Your guides will point out interesting highlights of the area, including native vegetation, geology, animals, as well as local history.

For thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike, it's the perfect adventure for families, couples seeking to escape the fast-paced city, or adults looking for something new.

NOTE: "ViewPoint" Video cameras are available for rental on all Hocking Hills Canopy Tours adventures!

Requirements

  • Participants must weigh between 70 and 250 pounds. Please call if you have any questions. Please note: Due to weight restrictions related to our outdoor activities, all participants will be weighed at check-in, on a "GO/NO GO" scale.

  • The minimum age is 10 years old. Children between the ages of 10 – 15 must be accompanied by an adult, but must be able to participate independently of the adult.

  • Every participant must sign a Waiver and Release Form.

  • Participants under the age of 18 must have a signed waiver by a parent or legal guardian. If the signer is not present, a photocopy of the signer's drivers license must accompany the signed waiver.

  • Closed-toed shoes are required.

  • Our activities are designed for use by participants of average mobility and strength, and who are in reasonably good health.

  • No one under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing legal drugs, will be allowed to participate in the tour. No pregnant women will be allowed to participate in the tour.

  • Hocking Hills Canopy Tours reserves the right to exclude anyone from participation for medical, safety, or other reasons.

  • All reservations are subject to our 7-day cancelation policy.

During the checkout process, please consider a donation to The Friends of the Hocking Hills State Park, a non-profit (501c3) membership organization for people who love the Hocking Hills and take a special interest in improving Park features and preserving it for the enjoyment of future generations. Through fundraising and helping hands, the Friends work directly with the State Park staff to oversee a wide range of projects at the Park. The Friends' Mission Statement is “to foster a partnership between outdoor enthusiasts and Hocking Hills State Park that ensures a better place for nature education while setting high conservation standards and raising a strong sense of responsibility for future generations.”
