Our program is specially designed to introduce young children to the joys of sailing while emphasizing water safety and seamanship.
Monday - Friday - We have a limit of 4 children per instructor and they are schedule and confirmed on a first come first serve basis.
Each child / children MUST bring their own USCG Approved life jacket and wear it anytime they are on the dock or on the water. And bring a water, lunch, and any snacks they will need for the course of time they will be with us. Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes.

Program Highlights: Water Safety Basics: Safety is our top priority. We teach essential water safety practices to ensure all participants are confident and secure while on the water.
Basic Keelboat Sailing Skills: Kids will learn the fundamentals of keelboat sailing, including rigging, steering, and sail handling.
Seamanship: Beyond sailing, we instill valuable seamanship skills, teaching children to understand and respect the marine environment.
Love for the Sea: Our program fosters a deep appreciation for the ocean, encouraging a lifelong passion for sailing and marine activities.
Smaller Class Sizes: We maintain smaller class sizes to ensure each child receives personalized attention and instruction.
Hands-On Experience: Young sailors will get plenty of hands-on experience, making learning fun and interactive as they navigate the beautiful waters of St. Augustine.

Whether your child is new to sailing or looking to improve their skills, the St. Augustine Sailing Youth Sailing Program offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the world of sailing and develop a love for the sea.
Should you be looking to have your child / children ASA 101 certified- the child must be enrolled for a minimum of 4 weeks (attending a minimum of 2 times a week) and pass a written text. This option is $595 per person - per week to qualify to sit for the ASA 101 certification exam.
Lightweight, quick-drying clothing and a hat will keep you comfortable on the water.
Florida sun can be intense even on cloudy days—use reef-safe sunscreen to protect skin and marine environments.
Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated through physical activity under the sun.
Following safety guidance and demonstrations ensures a safe and enjoyable learning experience.

The camp promotes use of reef-safe sunscreens and regularly participates in local shoreline cleanups to protect fragile estuarine habitats.
