• The best place to see crocodiles, koalas, birds of prey and wombats in North Queensland including a boat cruise on Hartley's Lagoon, Cassowary Feeding, Wetland Tour, Crocodile Farm Tour and Crocodile Feeding Presentation. Free time to explore the park and complimentary morning tea. Ask us about upgrading to include Breakfast with the Koalas!! At 11.25 am we will pick you up and head to the multi- award winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway where you will enjoy a world heritage listed rainforest experience and take in some of the most spectacular views on earth. On arrival in Kuranda I'll be there to meet and show you around this, 'Village in the rainforest' famous for its colourful arts and crafts markets as well as adventures. Wander the shops, markets, galleries, enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many cafes and great restaurants. (at your own expense) Join the Kuranda riverboat and cruise through the world’s most ancient rainforest enjoying commentary about river life. Visit the Butterfly Sanctuary, Bird World full of friendly tame birds or pop into the Koala Gardens and have your picture taken with one!! After approx 2 hours in Kuranda it's time for a 1 1/2 hour trip on one of the most spectacular rail journeys in Australia, the Kuranda Scenic Train travel through the rainforest enjoying breathtaking scenery, waterfalls and tunnels. Once we arrive at Freshwater station we head up the coast to stunning Palm Cove. I will show you along the palm fringed Esplanade before joining you for a sunset cocktail/wine/beer/soft drink (at own expense) overlooking the picturesque beach. Returning to Port Douglas at dusk and the end of our afternoon together.
