Description

"Exploring the Marquesas: A Weekend of Adventure on the Gulf Stream"

About

Hemingway's Playground - Ernest’s first sportfishing foray was a weekend trip with Charles to the Marquesas, 30 miles offshore, on a boat captained by Bahamian “Bra” Saunders. The possibilities are endless, from romantic sunsets, harbor trips, snorkeling, sandbar and dolphin cruises, and thrilling backwater eco excursions. Start times are flexible.

Chartering a boat to the Marquesas Keys in Florida for the day can offer a unique and memorable experience. Here are a few reasons why it might be a great choice:

  1. Remote and Pristine Environment: The Marquesas Keys are relatively remote and less crowded than other popular spots in the Florida Keys. This means enjoying a more tranquil and pristine environment, with beautiful, unspoiled beaches and clear waters.

  2. Great for Wildlife Viewing: The area is known for its diverse marine life. You might see dolphins, sea turtles, and a variety of bird species. It's a fantastic spot for nature enthusiasts and photographers.

  3. Exceptional Snorkeling: The waters around the Marquesas Keys are excellent for snorkeling and diving. The coral reefs and underwater ecosystems are vibrant and offer a chance to explore marine life up close.

  4. Adventure and Privacy: Since the Marquesas Keys are more isolated, you'll have a greater sense of adventure and privacy than in popular destinations. It's a perfect spot for a private getaway.

  5. Scenic Beauty: The keys offer stunning scenery, including mangroves, sandy beaches, and turquoise waters. It's an ideal setting for relaxation, exploration, and enjoying nature.

  6. Fishing Opportunities: If you're into fishing, the waters around the Marquesas Keys can provide excellent opportunities for catching various fish.

  7. Personalized Experience: Chartering a boat allows you to customize your itinerary to suit your interests and schedule, whether you want to spend more time snorkeling, exploring, or relaxing on the beach.

Overall, a day trip to the Marquesas Keys by boat offers a unique blend of adventure, natural beauty, and relaxation.
