About This Adventure

Join the 2025 Savor Farm and Food Tour for a captivating 30-minute guided exploration of Taliesin's Kitchen Garden and Farm. Discover the rich history of farming at Taliesin and how it has shaped the community over the years. Engage with knowledgeable staff and witness the evolution of this agricultural legacy.


Tour Taliesin’s Midway Barn as part of the 2024 Savor Farm and Food Tour. Meet long-term and knowledgeable staff for a 30-minute guided tour of Midway Barn. You will be introduced to the rich history of how farming and food began at Taliesin and have since been an integral part. This will be followed by a discussion of how this legacy has evolved over the century and is continued today.

Free tours at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Space is are limited to 25 and online registration is encouraged to secure a spot on the tour.

Adventure Tips

Arrive Early

Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the tour start to locate the Hillside School Complex meeting point easily.

Wear Comfortable Shoes

Expect uneven terrain and gravel paths; sturdy footwear will keep you comfortable throughout the 30-minute tour.

Bring Water

While the Visitor Center has water fountains, having your own bottle ensures hydration especially on warmer days.

Limited Seating

There are few places to rest on the tour, so be prepared for some standing and walking on terraced stairs without handrails.
