They all got their base in 1600-1700’s Sweden but some foundations dates to medieval ages and some stories too. Visit the Royal castle of Drottningholm, an UNESCO world heritage place, and two other castles. Both Wenngarn and Skokloster are very well preserved castles from the 1600s.

In all of those places the most famous Swedish nobles of their time were living their lives.

Itinerary

• Pick up at your Stockholm central located hotel/cruise port.

Then awaits the UNESCO world heritage area of Drottningholm, take a guided tour by your expert knowledgeble guide in the castle and the unique park area. Then awaits a drive and lunch in the city of Sigtuna, the oldest city in Sweden.

After that we visit the castle of Wenngarn, once home to the favorite noble of Queen Christina: Magnus Gabriel De La Gardie. Hear about him, see the best preserved baroque church in Northern europe and the newly restored garden. After that we visit Skokloster; see the former monastery church, its treasures of paintings, books and silver.

• Then await the drive back to Stockholm.
