The Discover Scuba Experience takes place on weekends at our private residential pool to avoid the crowds at larger public pools.

Once you select your desired day, the UnderWatters Co. staff will reach out to you to discuss a time that will fit within your schedule.

Have you ever wanted to try scuba diving but didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on courses and gear just to try it? The Discover Scuba Experience is your answer! In an enjoyable two-hour introductory class, you will learn what it takes to be a scuba diver. We’ll show you the ropes, bring the gear, and manage your safety as you breathe underwater for the first time.

You’ll meet your team at one of our local pools in San Diego. In a brief pre-dive lesson, you will be introduced to your dive gear and learn basic dive skills like clearing your mask and managing your buoyancy.

Once you’ve practiced your skills a few times on land, you will move to the water to demonstrate what you’ve learned. Once you’re comfortable moving around underwater, let the games begin! Your instructor will organize fun obstacle courses, hula hoops, scavenger hunts, underwater games, and more! Our goal is for you to have a fun experience while helping you become comfortable underwater!

Though not an official Scuba Certification course, the Discover Scuba experience is a great way to dip your toe into the world of scuba diving.
