Malta’s islands have been key Mediterranean maritime hubs for millennia; today the marine park is part of national efforts to protect habitats that were once heavily fished.
Operate with the marine park rules in mind: do not touch or remove wildlife, keep a safe distance from sensitive habitats, and use reef-safe sunscreen to limit chemical runoff.
