About This Adventure

Experience the joy of group riding in a scenic countryside setting, perfect for beginners of all ages. This one-hour lesson includes personalized instruction on essential riding skills, followed by a leisurely ride along picturesque lanes. Families can bond while exploring the great outdoors together, creating unforgettable memories.

This experience is suitable for complete beginners, beginner & novice riders of all ages and is a great for families wishing to ride together.

About

The experience starts in the arena where you will receive instruction covering mounting, position in the saddle, steering, walking & trotting. The instruction is tailored to each riders ability.

The ride then goes for a walk out along the country lane which has views of the surrounding countryside & mountains.

The ride is suitable for adults & children from 7yrs. Younger children from 4yrs may ride as part of a family group.

If only 1 rider books onto this group lesson it will revert to a 40min private lesson.

This is a mixed group ride for adults and children it is not available as a private 1 to 1 ride. If there is only 1 person in the group the lesson will revert to a 40min private lesson. Larger groups of more than 5 riders may be taken subject to availability please email/phone to arrange group bookings. This is a beginner lesson if you an intermediate/advanced rider please email for lesson availability.

Booking Conditions

Our upper weight limit is 220lbs, 16.5 stone or 105kg. For safety and horse welfare reasons, we are unable to accept riders over this weight.

Child rates apply for under 16 years old. All riders please turn up 15mins before the start of your ride to allow time to book in and to fit hats.

Mounting and dismounting are included in the ride time. All prices are per person and exclude booking fees.

Adventure Tips

Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes

Closed-toe footwear with a low heel helps secure your footing in the stirrups and protects your feet during the ride.

Arrive 15 minutes early

Getting to the center early ensures time for fitting safety helmets and a relaxed introduction before mounting.
