Here, you’ll travel back in time 120 years, as your guide explains the customs and traditions of the islanders using the fascinating items that decorate the building.
Next, you’ll learn about the religious life of Rhodes. Religion is an important aspect of Greek culture, and the Greek Orthodox Church is filled with symbolism and ritual. You’ll visit a traditional village church where your guide will explain the significance of religion for the islanders, describe how religion and daily life are closely entwined, and demystify the symbolism and ritual of Greek Orthodoxy.
Finally, you’ll learn about the arts and crafts of Rhodes with a visit to a traditional pottery workshop.
