About Overtime Tours
Handcrafted walking, car and boat experiences departing from Porto — history, views, and regional flavors.
Overtime Tours is a Porto-based tour operator offering private and small-group experiences that showcase northern Portugal. Founded to connect visitors with local history, architecture, and gastronomy, Overtime Tours specializes in walking tours, private car excursions, full-day itineraries, and coastal or river boat trips.
The company operates from Porto, Porto, and leads trips that include the Porto Highlights walking route, half-day and full-day private car tours, Douro River private boat cruises, and day trips to Braga, Guimarães, Aveiro, and Costa Nova.
Local guides provide narrated visits to landmarks such as Livraria Lello, Serra do Pilar, the Ribeira district, Bom Jesus do Monte, and other regional highlights. Several experiences emphasize cultural context and culinary sampling, including traditional Portuguese sweets and ovos moles in Aveiro.
Transport modes vary by itinerary and include walking, private car, and private boat where noted. Overtime Tours focuses on customizable itineraries that allow travelers to prioritize historic sites, scenic viewpoints, or gastronomic stops. Private tours can be tailored to interests and time constraints, from brief 1.5-hour introductions to eight-hour day trips.
Group sizes and accessibility details depend on the specific tour chosen; guests are encouraged to confirm requirements at booking. The operator presents factual, site-based narratives and logistical coordination for each itinerary, providing clear meeting points and full-day planning for excursions from Porto.
Booking information, pricing details, cancellation policies, and special requests are provided at reservation so travelers can plan confidently and select options that match mobility, dietary, or schedule needs. Tour confirmations include meeting-point maps and contact.
“Every outing is organized with local river knowledge, basic safety instruction, and equipment checks before departure.”
