Visit by appointment as the estate accommodates a limited number of school groups daily to ensure quality interaction.
Apply sunscreen and bring hats; much of the botanical trail is shaded but sun protection is good for outdoor workshops.
Non-slip shoes are recommended for walking the varied terrain of the orchard and sensory garden.
Students can see and touch farm animals, but handling should be gentle and supervised to ensure animal welfare.
Pointe des Châteaux reflects traditional island farming established generations ago, preserving Creole agricultural practices.
The estate promotes biodiversity through organic farming and educational programs encouraging sustainable interactions with the environment.
