Miami is full of diversity and has some rich history. When people think of Miami, the Latin influence usually comes to mind first. But a part of this history comes from the African-American/Caribbean-American cultures that run through the veins of the city. Book this experience to learn just how rich it is.
We will visit historic Overtown where I’ll introduce you a lot of history that many don't even know exist in Miami. Learn of Miami’s role in the civil rights movement, the city’s historically Black beach, the city’s first Black Millionaire, the hangout for greats like Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X and Sammy Davis, Jr., and the first Black luxury resort that never happened.
During this experience, you’ll also get to enjoy a specialty menu including some of Miami’s best soul food. You won't find many Black history tours in Miami and I'm happy to share this cultural experience with you.
