About This Adventure

Experience the thrill of "Wild Card" diving days in Maui, where certified divers explore unique, lesser-known sites chosen by the captain based on conditions and requests. With options like Marty's Reef and the St. Anthony, this adventure promises excitement and discovery, perfect for those seeking an unforgettable underwater experience.

What's a "Wild Card" day? That's when we go to some of our less dived sites around Maui. Wild Card days do not include Molokini Crater.

Though we sometimes say the sites are "Captain's choice", conditions and coolness factors (along with your special requests) will determine where we go on these dives. When you look on the booking calendar, you'll see where we PLAN to go on a given charter, but please know that Mother Nature determines what will really happen that day, and sites often change. Whatever the case, know that you've signed up for something cool that we don't usually get to do.

Possible sites include Marty's Reef, the St. Anthony, Z Blocks,, Mala, Tank, Landing Craft & Triple Anchors, and more. Call us to find out what we're planning or just live life on the wild side and book now!

Times and Duration

  • Check in is at 6:15 in the morning and we return to the harbor between noon and 1:00.
  • 6 Hours (approx.)

About

Certified divers will enjoy this trip. These trips are suitable for experienced divers since we will be diving sites a little more off the beaten path which may also include drift diving...and likely will not include a visit to Molokini, Participation will require that divers have excellent buoyancy control, at least ten logged dives, and are comfortable doing safety stops on the go (no line to hold on to).

IMPORTANT NOTE: If it has been over two years since your last dive, Maui Diamond requires that you complete a refresher dive prior to your boat trip, or hire a private guide for your dives. This excursion is not suitable for snorkelers.

Do you need rental gear? No problem! We can provide you with a BCD and regulator (and whatever else you may need) for just $30.

DIVER MEDICAL FORM REQUIRED: All certified divers are required to complete a medical history form and some will be required to obtain their physician's release to participate in scuba diving. Here's a link to the form for easy reference and in case it's needed for a doctor visit. Divers who are required to obtain a medical release to dive and who show up without one will be welcomed aboard as passengers but will not be able to dive and will not be refunded. We'd rather get to take you diving, so please get this done!

The Small Print: Mother Nature is the ultimate boss of what we do. Should we find ourselves in conditions that do not allow us to safely do the sites we've planned, we will find another more appropriate site or two and take it from there. We will not issue refunds if, due to weather conditions, we are not able to dive the listed sites on a given day.
