About

Exclusive to Ka Rawe tours, we'll head out of town to check out some of the finest motorcars & automotive history. We visit the world renowned Southwards Car Museum in Kapiti & Cars Inc in Upper Hutt. We'll also get to sample some of NZ's finest beverages. What a day out!

Itenerary Items

  • You will be collected from your central hotel, at the port or at the iSite
  • Head off on a short 25 minute journey heading up to the Kapiti Coast
  • Take a short stop at the US Marine Corps Memorial & learn about the US Marines based here in 1942 - 1944
  • We’ll now make our way to the World Class Southwards Car Museum
  • Spend up to an hour at Southwards, grab a coffee as you enter
  • Head over to the Hutt Valley for more automotive goodness at Cars Inc
  • Speaking of goodness, there is a cafe on site for lunch too.
  • As you depart Upper Hutt your driver will show you points of interest including the historic Trentham Military Camp, the $120m NZCIS High Performance Sports Facility & Rimutaka Prison!
  • On the way we stop at Petone for a leisurely wander up Jackson St
  • We visit a local watering hole to sample some NZ craft beers, wines, gin or soft drinks for the kids!
  • Head back in ot the city where your friendly guide will drop you back to your pick up location Please note that the order of the itinerary may change
