One of Ibiza’s most iconic hikes, the steep and sandy path to the ancient stone quarry known as ‘Atlantis’ has been trodden for decades. Steeped in myth and legend, the historic quarry is carved with esoteric figures and spiritual symbols, adding to the location’s mystique. We dive from the angular rock formations into the crystal clear waters below Es Vedrà to soak up Ibiza’s most magical energy.

The Hike Station Grading System: Medium - Difficult

Important Information

Food & Beverages: Carrying ample drinking water is essential. There are no stores or other facilities along our trails. Fruit and energy bars are ideal for mid-way sustenance.

What to Bring: The Hike Station will provide for each person a small backpack. You should bring at least 1.5L of water per person, and snacks if you would like. Please bring your own: sun hat, sun cream, and swimwear for coastal hikes. Also ensure you bring any necessary medication or inhalers that you might require during the hike.

What to Wear: Suitable footwear, including socks (sports trainers are fine). Anyone wearing unsuitable footwear (such as flip-flops), or no socks, will not be able to hike. Ideally you should wear comfortable, quick-drying sportswear. A jacket or hoodie are recommended for sunset hikes, windy days, or rare cold days! We think black is best!

The trail includes rocky and uneven sections, so proper footwear is essential to prevent slips and injuries.

Carry enough water

Bring at least 2 liters of water to stay hydrated, as there is limited shade on the path.

Sun protection is a must

Use sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to shield yourself from the strong Mediterranean sun.

Be prepared for swimming

Pack swimwear and a towel to enjoy the crystal-clear waters at the hike’s end.
