About

Our Hoosegg cellar door at Koomooloo is now open for tastings.

Offering our current and museum red wines for tasting, it is the perfect opportunity to sample each of our amazing red wines with winemaker Philip Shaw overlooking the vineyard with views to Mount Canobolas.

Tasting fee is $50 per person, with 50% of the tasting fee is refunded upon the purchase of any 6 bottles or more. A cheese platter will be served alongside your tasting as a palate cleanser. The tasting will take approximately 1.5hrs.

Each of these wines are rated highly by Huon Hooke at 'The Real Review'. The Seven Heaven Chardonnay (sold out) was voted the best Chardonnay in Orange, our Shiraz top in NSW and our Cabernet Franc the best in Australia and New Zealand.

HOOSEGG was rated as the 15th Top Winery in Australia by The Real Review, with ratings of 96 points for both the Jade Moon and Double Happy.

The 2026 Wine Companion recently awarded HOOSEGG Winery 5 Stars.
