Description

Take a glimpse into the beautiful underwater world of Hilo, and take your first baby step into SCUBA with our Shore Discover SCUBA Diving Experience. If you are unsure about diving and don't know about getting your Open Water Diver Certification, this tour is a great way to see if SCUBA is right for you. With a quick and easy presentation and pool lesson, you can learn the basics stress free and get in the ocean! Hilo is a wonderful place to dive and the best place on the whole island to see Sea Turtles (not guaranteed). Not to mention the colorful reef fish and crystal clear waters making diving in Hilo fantastic! So take your first step into diving with us and sign up today!

The Discover SCUBA Diving experience is broken into 3 Sections

  • First, you will get paperwork filled out ,get fitted into your gear, and do your Discover SCUBA Diving Presentation!
  • Second, all the participants will get a 45min-1hr pool training session to get some hands on learning.
  • Finally, you'll end off your experience in the beautiful waters of Hilo! All you have to do for your dive is relax and enjoy your first ever SCUBA dive! Upon completion, you'll get a Discover SCUBA Diving Certificate! This allows you to dive under direct supervision of a SCUBA professional and is a credit to the Open Water Diver Certification for 14 days.

Please Note

If you do not complete your paperwork before attending it will come out of your class time and will be an extra $50 to make up for the wasted time. This is NOT A CERTIFICATION COURSE! You will not be allowed to SCUBA dive without a SCUBA professional after this. SCUBA diving without proper training can result in serious bodily harm.

You can get the proper training to dive on your own by taking part in our PADI Open Water Course!

Policies

  1. If you do not come in fully prepared to participate (PADI medical forms signed off) you will not be allowed to attend and will be a $50 rescheduling fee. *
  2. Rebooking within 24 hours of your tour will result in a $50 rescheduling fee. *

*This fee can be waived if circumstances are out of the customers control.
