You will reach Genoa by train in one hour and 30 minutes (approximately). Once in Genoa your Guide will show you the heart of the city learning about the city’s past battles and innovations. Walking along Via Balbi with a look at the university courtyards and the Church. First stop at the Bar Pasticceria where you can have coffee and taste typical sweets (canestrelli, baci d’Alassio, and so on). Continue to the Ancient port, with its history and the characteristic Church of San Pietro in Banchi reaching a shop where you can taste focaccia. This is a Unesco heritage site! Continue with the historic Palazzo Rosso and Bianco up to Piazza de Ferrari with Palazzo Ducale. You'll have your lunch break in the center with excellent dishes with pesto and other Ligurian specialties. After lunch, visit the Cathedral of San Lorenzo and the House of Christopher Columbus. Departure from Genoa in the late afternoon and arrival in Milan in the evening.
