About This Adventure

Experience the art of Ikebana in a unique foraging workshop at The Kampong, led by botanical artist Janae. Begin with a mindful garden walk, collecting abundant flora, then create your own stunning floral arrangement. This immersive experience fosters a deeper connection with nature and inspires creativity in your own surroundings.

Participants can engage with the land and exercise mindfulness through foraging and creating their own ikebana arrangement. This class focuses on building techniques around balance and form through teachings of ikebana. Starting with a guided nature walk around the garden, we will explore topics like invasive plant species and practice experimental floral mechanics. For this class participants are asked to bring their own vessel for their creation. Choose a pot or planter that is 1-3 liters in volume. Some will be available for purchase the day of the program.
