About

Discover one of Paris' oldest, most fascinating and vibrant markets: The Marché d'Aligre. This food tour is more than just a meal: it's a cultural immersion experience. As you savor each bite, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the traditions, customs, and history that have shaped Paris's culinary landscape. Engage with locals, hear their stories, and of course EAT! the delicious treats that make this city so extraordinary to visit.

You'll have choices on at least 10 tastings on our visit: sweet or savory, I'll be sure to delight your tastebuds! you'll get a cup of the most delicious and fresh coffee in the East of the city! Follow me as we discover all kinds of flavors in the food stalls and as well as at iconic local food shops nearby, owned by the friendliest people in Paris.

Kids of all ages are welcome! Our group will be of maximum 6/8 people, so we can assure an intimate and great experience for everybody. -Market is CLOSED ON MONDAYS. Open from Tuesday to Sunday. -Meeting point at 9h30 am - 100 Rue Faubourg Saint Antoine, 75012 (Ledru Rollin metro station Line 8 - Sortie/Exit 2 - Rue Faubourg Saint-Antoine). If you don't see the confirmation email arriving immediately after your booking, CHECK YOUR SPAM INBOX, email comes from my hello@frenchixican.com address. -IMPORTANT: ONLY 10 MINUTES WAIT for latecomers. Please be aware that if you don't show up on time on the date/time you booked or don't show up at all, it won't be possible to catch up with the group, reschedule your visit or get a refund. -Group size: 6/8 People maximum -Duration: 2.5/3Hours -Starts at 9h30 am and ends at around 12:15 pm (starting point/ending point very close to each other). -Easy walk (total distance: 2 Miles/1 km). -Tasting will be a number of small bites, that we'll enjoy while strolling and a main tasting at the stalls in the covered market. -Then we will sit to enjoy a delicious glass of wine at one of the most iconic wine bars in the city. -This tour is FAMILY FRIENDLY, kids of all ages are welcome!
