Together, your troop will explore Juliette Gordon Low’s girlhood home, play one of her favorite parlor games, and look closely at how she challenged expectations for women in her day to become a confident leader.
She’s Got Game (recommended for all levels)
Are you afraid of making mistakes? Saying the wrong thing? Starting something new? What holds you back from taking action in life? Playing games can help you with that!
Juliette Gordon Low might have realized that the time she spent as a girl playing and making up games with family and friends helped give her the courage, confidence, and character she needed to start Girl Scouts. She made sure that “real FUN” was an important part of early Girl Scouting from the beginning.
Carry on this Girl Scout tradition. Have fun and hack your fears while playing games with other Girl Scouts!
