Manduria – homeland of famous Primitivo wine. The vines are mainly trained with small bush pugliese system and grow on limestone-clayey red soil and caressed by the breeze coming from Ionian Sea and the warm Apulian sun. Enjoy a complete tour of wine cellar in Manduria to discover history and the vineyards surrounding the estate. The visit starts with the visit of the vineyards; continues with the visit of an ancient museum and ends with a visit to the brand new cellar where the various stages of wine production are illustrated. During the visit you will learn an explanation of the winemaking process, from harvesting to marketing, covering vinification, aging and bottling. The wines produced are exclusively made from Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes coming from owned vineyards. In the end, tasting of some representative wines (5 glasses) of the estate accompanied by some finger food: taralli, olives, cheese, bread.
