Take the Factory Tour, a 40 minute professionally guided tour though Australia’s only working ginger factory. You will learn how ginger is grown, harvested and processed. View the factory floor and see the ginger sorted and graded before making its way to the cook tanks where the syruping process takes place over a period of 12 days. This tour includes a tasting plate of delicious samples ranging from a drink to savoury and sweet. Starting from humble beginnings as a small farming cooperative in 1941, Buderim Ginger is now a leading exporter of ginger products around the world.
A child ticket covers visitors from 4 years through to 16 years. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult on tours and rides, children aged 3 years and under are free of charge. A family ticket includes 2 adults and 3 children. A senior ticket is available to any visitor with a valid Seniors Card. The Factory Tour is fully accessible for all abilities.
