Coach and Open Air Adults (Ages 16+): $14 Children (Ages 3-15): $10 Toddlers (Ages 0-2, seated in the lap of an adult): Free

First Class- Monon Business Car #2 Lounge Seating- $20 Private room for 3- $65

Note: Toddlers are welcome in first class if seated in the lap of an adult, however there is not a separate toddler ticket. A toddler would not count towards the total of 3 passengers for the Private Room seating option. Please mention any toddlers when checking in to retrieve your tickets before boarding.

Are you ready to take a journey back to a bygone era? Then visit the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in northwest Indiana. Situated near the former junction of the Erie, PRR, C&O, and NYC in historic North Judson, HVRM offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and smells of railroading during its heydays.

Travel through the rural farm country of northern Indiana. See flowers, butterflies, and wildlife as we travel through the remnants of the Grand Kankakee Marsh.

General seating is available on all our regular diesel excursions. You may choose from either coach or open-air car seating when you arrive, subject to availability. First Class seating is available on most excursion.

  • Trains run rain or shine.
  • No smoking, alcohol or pets allowed on the train.
  • There are no working restrooms on the train.
  • Due to the historic nature of our equipment, our excursions are currently not handicap accessible.
  • All trains operate on CENTRAL TIME (Chicago time).
  • Train times are approximate and we are not responsible for delays.
  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes early, as late boarding is not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to cancel trips and substitute equipment.
